the iron horse.

Yes. There is a giant iron horse in the middle of a corn field in Watkinsville. An unwanted gift to the University that ended up here. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon photo adventure.

Fully Alive.

Live. Give. Love.

A LONG LIFE ISN'T THE ULTIMATE GOAL.
Paul said that if they killed him it would be his greatest dream, but if he stays on earth it will just me more and more Jesus that he will preach.
Christ died at 33 and still made the greatest impact on my life.
We should never insult the Creator by saying, "What a tragedy/shame his life was cut short."

DEATH ISN'T THE ULTIMATE ENEMY OF THE BELIEVER.
A wasted life is our greatest enemy.

NO ONE CAN ROB YOU OF THE OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST YOUR DAYS.
There isn't a circumstance that can keep us from investing our days so that they will live forever.

"The glory of God is man... fully alive."

sweet november.

As November sweeps into my life with brisk cold weather I'm reminded how much I love fall. The smell of wood burning stoves remind me of Grandma's house on Christmas Eve and the overcast sky hints of a coming snow.

Why is it only in the fall that I want a boy's hand to hold, where mine will fit perfectly, as we walk through scattered, falling leaves. There is something about hoodies, flannels, and down vests that make me want to fall into a boy's arms. Not because I'm a silly girl... they just look so cozy and comforting. Ok, maybe it is because I'm just a silly girl.

Sitting upstairs at Two Story Coffee House I'm gently awakened to the One who is truly pursuing my heart. My Savior romances me with sweet moments, beautiful sunsets, and dazzling stars like no boy ever could.

"The impulse to pursue God originates with God, but the outworking of that impulse is our following hard after Him. All the time we are pursing Him we are already in His hand." -A.W. Tozer.

Excitement is in the air and I have the itch to travel, explore and dream.

Will I stay in Athens, will I go home, will a move across the country, will I end up overseas....? Oh the possibilities are endless.

For right now... on this Wednesday in Athens... I want to Glorify Him. The rest will come.

my brothers.

Because of my four incredibly handsome, adventures, hilarious brothers I've grown to love being one of the guys. Whether it's rock climbing, camping, talking sports, or just bein' chill I adore being that girl that feels completely comfortable with the boys. I'm thankful for this. However, I don't want to be attached to those boys who may eventually leave town or get married, leaving it hard to stay best buds. I'm grateful for the Camp boys would will always be there. I love you four... more than you'll ever know.
