needtobreathe.

I need HIM like I "need to breathe."

Amazing show at 40 Watt in Athens this weekend! The band needtobreathe... my current favorite! Rock band from South Carolina, so down to earth and personable. Check them out... they'll be in Atlanta on Oct. 1st at the Loft! Thanks K.B. for taking me!

So of course the one day out of the whole year that I don't have my camera... I'm right at the stage with a million great photo opportunities... I had to rely on my phone's camera for the first time.

Griffin House opened for them and he sings one of my favorite songs: "The Guy that Says Goodbye to You."

impact.

In these next three semesters at UGA I want to focus on impacting those around me and not on experiences! "show me specifically!"

goodbye sweet summertime...

back in Athens, my favorite! This first week of school has already stressed me out a little bit... getting the right classes and trying to prepare myself for hard classes is not fun! It's back to reality, but what better college town to live in??!?! Church on Sunday was great, campus ministry on Wednesday was packed, and I'm reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan (recommended)! Running into lovely friends in random places ... favorite part of the week! Tonight I went with a sweet friend to a milk shake mixer party and it soon turned into a dance party.... who needs downtown? :) I've loved meeting new people this week, it makes me smile and realize why I love being here! (Still one a day L.D.!!)

Good luck to S.S. on her way to a grand adventure in the city and L.D. as she re-adjusts to altitude and the beautiful West! Love you both!

home.

is where the heart is! I'm so thankful for the short week I was home with my family this summer! They mean so much to me and being close to them makes me smile! Home cooked meals, watchin' youtube with my sis, sleepin' in, drivin' my old stick shift, Jane Austen movies, Daddy and brother fixin' my car window, and FBCJ.

Two great friends and a full moon! :) "Epic... it's the only word that fits!"

the hot daaag gang

the best way to end an awesome summer at camp... making jokes about hot dogs!

One reunion has already taken places since this wonderful night... but sweet M.M. was only there in spirit! :( It was a spectacular night, even though we did not eat hot dogs! The laser show at Stone Mountain was our final destination of the night. "Who just decided, 'Hey lets build a fence around this big rock and make people pay to see it.'"-J.G.

on top of the world.

Our road trip ended with a trip to Mt. Evan with one of Lindsey's new roommates! It's a 14ner, an hour outside of Denver, boasting the highest road in the U.S. Absolutely breathtaking!
