victory at last.

After quite the rough start our Dawgs have finally started to pull out some wins. A beautiful fall Saturday between the hedges with best friends, red & black, and a step onto the field.

for me ... for free?

Walked outside. Looked up at the sky. Heart stopped. He is madly in love with me! :)

(this picture was taken a little later... not as majestic.)

The football game was a 7:45 kickoff against Kentucky and alot of my friends left for Thanksgiving or decided not to come up for the game. Thankfully I found a great parking space... FOR FREE, thanks Kara for the head up! Oh... and UGA died... yea... seriously?

I got to sit with my beautiful friend Bekah and a few of her friends! It was her first true Georgia football experience! "I'm feeling overwhelmed!" Sad that she wasn't in town for a victory, but fun all the same.

Walking toward downtown Kara and I were hungry and just wanted some pizza! When we walked past a booth from Dominos that was selling pizzas for $5, I stopped. "Oh you can just have one FOR FREE!" :) This made our whole night! Something so simple and random turned out to be such a God wink!! With no where to sit down and eat it we just roamed dt with our pizza... we got lots of comments, esp. from boys who wanted our pizza! Wanting a coke and a water we looked in Pitta Pit, only to see a very long line. But, as it turned out Kara knew one of the employees sitting outside who offered to go in a get us drinks... FOR FREE!!! :) Perfection.

dresses, raincoats, & dawgs...

it's Saturday in Athens! We walked 1.7 miles in a torrential downpour to cheer on our Bulldogs! It was an exciting game, even though the score shouldn't have been so close against Arizona State! We won with Green's field goal block and Walsh's field goal with 2 seconds left on the clock! A great day to live in Athens! Still ringing water out of my dress.

IT'S SATURDAY, SATURDAY, SATURDAY!!!

Our Dawgs are finally back and playing between the hedges! Saturday night under the lights... with 90,000 of our closest friends!

The day started with game day business at CFA Beechwood, record breaking hour! I worked drivethru play with a ref jersey on (one response: "Who are you? Are from Hibbett Sports? Why are you taking our order?).

Putting on some red and black dresses... we were ready to walk to campus from MC's house! It was nice that everything was chill... no rushing!

Myers to North Campus we saw friends and tailgates. Oh so many people. We camped out a tailgate on North for a little while. Three of us went walking to see someone else and I ran into some favorites! The boys are back in town! One found me a hot daag and then we had to say goodbye and left them to watch the game on a TV. :( Sorry friends!

The new ticket system wasn't terrible, we sat in the student section with the band. We did have to get to the stadium supper early.

KICKOFF TIME! The GameCocks scored way to early... head in hands... "Not again guys..." Then 100 yard kickoff return for touchdown by Georgia's Brandon Boykin!! A little bit later when Boykin got an interception we said, "Ok now they've hit the on switch!" :) We didn't play without mistakes and actually fell in the polls, but it was an exciting football game that wasn't over until the last few seconds of the game!

One of my pet peeves is when fans leave before the end of ball game! This one was too close for people to leave... love it! Saturday in Athens!!
